So many blessings... It's a marvel to behold. We're thankful and grateful.
We have a wonderful building in a great location. But we should never forget, the entire facility is dedicated to the glory of God, worship and prayer, not just the upstairs part of the building.

It's exciting to see so many people taking initiative and arranging different kinds of social events at the church, for the church. It's a great blessing. As these become more frequent, we should keep in mind:

  • There can be no set-up, cooking, or preparation activity of any kind while a service of the church is in progress. This is strictly forbidden.
  • Fasting regulations must be observed. Meat and/or dairy may not be served during a fasting period.
  • The above includes Wednesdays and Fridays outside of a fasting period whenever the restrictions apply.

Parish members in good standing are permitted to use the church facilities. Here are the basic guidelines:

  • Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. All dates must be cleared with the priest and require a reasonable advance notice.
  • Use of the facilities for Orthodox observances always takes precedence in scheduling.
  • Fasting regulations must be observed. Meat and/or dairy may not be served during a fasting period, whether at a Baptismal reception or Meal of Mercy.
  • The above includes Wednesdays and Fridays outside of a fasting period whenever the restrictions apply.
  • Church-related organizations are subject to these rules.
  • Weddings and receptions aren't permitted during a fasting period without written permission from the Metropolitan Archbishop.
  • Members using the church facilities for personal events are required to oversee any and all clean up of the kitchen and fellowship areas.
