Triodion is here. The Church sets in front of us the example of the Publican and the Pharisee.
- Don’t judge anyone this week about anything.
- Don’t listen to gossip. Excuse yourself. Hang up the phone. Don’t participate.
- Instead, forebear with one another in love. Overlook the weaknesses of a brother.
- Make excuses for his behavior.
- Justify him in front of other people.
- Cover the nakedness of his sin.
- Show compassion. Be merciful.
Do this and you will receive mercy. God Himself will justify you..
