Church School
There NO Church School on Sunday.
Churching of Zachary Johnson
We will “church” little Zachary this Saturday at 4:30 before Great Vespers.
Feast Day Celebration
We celebrate our annual Feast Day this year for our patron saint, Saint John the Theologian on Sunday, September 27. We're planning a picnic at the church following the Divine Liturgy. The food will be provided, but feel free to bring your own drinks. There will be outdoor games for the children. Please bring things like scooters and bikes for the kids and lawn chairs for yourselves, if you would like. We will also hold our annual "Washers Tournament" for the adults.
Children’s Skit in Honor of Our Patron Saint
The children are performing a short skit in honor of St. John the Theologian after the meal.
Reception of a Catechumen
Congratulations to Tucker Kyle on his reception as a catechumen of the church.
Parish Council Meeting

Antiochian Women’s Meeting
The next meeting is Sunday, October 25 in the multipurpose room after the Divine Liturgy. Contact Sh. Stella for more information.
Holy Dormition Monastery
We have a blessing from Mother Gabriella for a pilgrimage to Holy Dormition Monastery. We leave early Friday, November 13 and return after the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, November 15. Signup sheets are on the bulletin board. Talk to Fr. Daniel for details.
Reader’s Services in Poplar Bluff
