+ September 26
The primary feast day is in the fall.

This is the main feast day of St. John the Theologian, on which we celebrate the falling asleep of the holy, glorious, all-laudable Apostle and Evangelist.

May 8
St. John also has a secondary feast day in the spring.

On May 8, we commemorate the miracle that took place each year in Ephesus, on which a type of dust or powder called manna poured forth from his tomb. The manna was used by the faithful for healing sicknesses of both soul and body.
